When the pronoun is meant to be the subject use WHO
When the pronoun is meant to be the object use WHOM
This falls under the pronoun case area of grammar.

I don't make this mistake in writing as much as I do when I'm actually speaking, but I have made that mistake several times.
I have never even thought of this grammar rule. I hardly ever use the word whom and if I ever did I never questioned myself on if it was in the right context. Now I will pay more attention to my who and my whom.
In both writing and speaking I make the mistake quiet frequently. It has been explain to in the past, but it was one of those things that just does not stick with me
