Recently Sports have migrated from the field of fresh cut grass where honor stood as the code, to one with a different look. One with men in suits and ties, instead of cleats, and the sweat that comes with the title of being a sports star. Two sports standout the most in your mind when I say oversight hearing committee, and congress. What has happened in these sports has not been right. Steroids have changed the face of baseball from Americas pastime to one that is no longer recognizable to the greats that sweated in wool uniforms, such as Babe Ruth, and Lou Gehrig . Baseball has always been a sport of honor , one that every American boy knows how to play. This sport was able to teach character and good sportsmanship, it did this by those role models who won the awards year after year, and who hit a homerun every year. In the past these Heroes were honest people, but now these heroes are cheaters those who wanted the extra boost. Rodger, and Barry will never be as good as The Great Bambino, or Lou Gehrig. Those who put in an honest days work for what they got.
