Obama Speech

Last week Senator Obama gave a powerful speech about race in America.  His speech was not given as a black man, or as a white man, but rather as an american who sees both sides of the country's race divide. In his speech he remembers growing up a child who did not have this divide in his home, but rather a integrated family that lived as one that was not separated by color. He like many others still hold on to that dream of becoming a unified nation, in which everything and everyone, no matter what race, occupation, or religion one is. This is a change that no-one will be able to accomplish in four years, but rather in steps over time.  This change has been occurring since the nation was founded and will continue to do so for as long as people see the color of  a man, instead of what his character is. One day this dream will come true and when it does, our futures will be brighter, and our people will be better.
